We have a lot of pride for our city…and the delicious beer that’s brewed here…

Because of this, Keehn’s is on the brink of announcing some awesome city-wide beer and transportation packages. Until then, we thought it was only fair to share some of the newest & hottest breweries, beer gardens, and taverns around, so you can feel inspired to create your very own brewery tour with Keehn’s.

#1: Downtown 

Downtown is filled with exciting new breweries! We’ve also go some historic Milwaukee venues to explore. Take for example a local favorite, Best Place Historic Pabst Brewery. Select your tap of choice and they’ll fill your pint to the brim for a historic – some might say haunted – tour.

#2: South

There are so many southside breweries popping up these days. A brewery we particularly like is Enlightened Brewing. Beyond great beer, the set-up is just right for a warm, summer night near the Milwaukee River. There’s also a cozy taproom to sit back, relax, and sip. Side note: the two guys with beards – yah – they’re not related.

Looking to get traditional with your beer drinking? You’ll discover Old World beer gardens tucked away all over the city. When it’s a beautiful summer day & we’ve got a great reason to drink outside, we head to Hubbard Park Beer Garden or Estabrook Beer Garden in Shorewood. 

We also can’t go without noting Lakefront Brewery. For starters, they’re consistently winning awards for their brews nationwide. And, let’s not forget about their infamous brewery tour. They’ve become a city staple. But, if you’re looking to try some new flavors, like the up-and-coming sours, look no further than Like Minds Brewing Company.

Like Minds is quaint, and bright, and bursting with great-tasting, barrel-aged sours. They also offer Crowlers – yes, Crowlers with a “C” – which is one of the best inventions, ever. While it would be great to detail every Eastside brewery, we’ll let you figure out what flavors best fit your tastebuds…
